PS4 vs PS5/Xbox One vs Series X gameplay differences

Question

So I see a lot of discussion of people not liking the gameplay. It seems a lot of complaints center around size of maps, etc. with a lot of these complaints coming from people on PC or PS5. They are obviously playing the 128 player versions of the game.

Anyone here playing on PS4 or Xbox One?

I'd be interested in their opinion of the 64 player versions. My friend on PS4 seems to like it so far. I'm downloading both the PS4 and PS5 versions tomorrow before launch. I mean if we are going to compare this to past Battlefield titles like BF4, BF4 was a 64 player game. Lets see what people playing the 64 player versions think.

Are the maps well designed for 64 players?

Is the action as intense as BF3/BF4?

How is the vehicle/weapon balance on the 64 player versions?

When crossplay is turned off, I can't find a game. When it hurts, I only play with pc players. This is very unfair, will the feature of playing only with ps5 come?

If it won't come, let's return the game, this game cannot be played like this. we asked you to be a player between console only.

@ArchAngeL-PCX Me too, i will download the two versions not only because map design appears more fluid, but why this version has the crosplay in console only, PS4 / Xbox, if you reding across the forum one of most request features is crossplay only on console

@lookcr Yeah cross play on PS4/Xbox One will be console only because they can't run the 128 player maps with the PC/PS5/Series X players.

I'll be playing both as I have friends who don't own a PS5. At least cross progression is there, so I can level up the same soldier in both versions lol.

@ArchAngeL-PCX exactly, same here! LolResponding about the versions, seems run very ok, i saw some comments about fps drop, and the sames issues that we are reading, but in majority is certain about the 64 is a little better than 128.I believe is because we dont have much open areas, maybe we walk less to encounter fights across the map.

@lookcr I'm thinking the same. The 64 player maps might provide a much tighter combat experience more like what we are used to from BF4.
