Psa check your 2042 cache folder mine is at a bloated 1.74gb

Back when this game was in early alpha november 2021 the cache folder was at most 500mb and in a crazy location with the main game files i mean can you imagine a program running on one storage drive ...

My cache folder for the open beta was only 149MB with 340 files.

My cache folder for Season 2 is 1.5GB with over 3,500 files.

/facepalm

It's the shader cache folder. Deleting the folder forces the game to recompile all the shaders on the CPU during gameplay which causes CPU spikes and stutters during battles.

    @OskooI_007 I suppose that would explain the stutters I've being seeing the last few days which I never experienced before deleting my cache.
