@ragnarok013
Sadly, both ways seem utterly ineffective. I reported those players several times via the EA App in said way and always attached proof. Just checked and both cheaters are still playing. So no, cheaters are NOT getting banned within 2 months. I would expect this to take a week AT MOST (even that would be rather long). But 2 months and still nothing? What else do you expect than for us to think that:
a) there must be a better way or
b) cheaters are not getting banned at all

@ForumUser Cheaters do get banned but not everyone we think is cheating is actually cheating when DICE looks at not only the evidence submitted by players but at the stats that they have access to on the back end. I understand that it's frustrating to see people that we think are cheating still playing but we have to trust that DICE has access to data that we do not and makes the correct decision. Suspensions are things too so not everything is a perma ban so it is possible that your reports resulted in a temporary removal from game and when you saw them later it was after the punishment. If you see them continue to display signs of cheating report them again as subsequent reports can escalate additional punishments.
I can say that I have seen cheaters banned from reports that I've submitted so it does happen but not every report I've submitted results in a ban or suspension.

As I mentioned, all cheaters I report I check to make sure they are 100% cheating. So I submitted the link to the stats as proof (e.g. using ARs with 1000+ kills and HS% of 75% with a general ACC of 11%-15%).
There was not even a shadow of a doubt that those players were cheating. And if you don't get a perma-ban but just a say one week suspension for this kind of thing then I don't know what you have to do for a perma-ban.- EA_Rtas2 years ago

The correct way to report cheaters is to follow the steps as outlined in this link
Every report is investigated and action will be taken where necessary. We do not provide information on the investigation or the action that is taken.- 2 years ago@EA_Rtas
What is the expected time frame WHEN those reports are investigated, more precisely, what it the expected (maximum) delay between the report being filed and the investigation and action against those players takes place?
I reported two players I am following up on to check when they get banned 2 months ago and they are still playing (not during the last 2 days though, so MAYBE they are now finally banned -- or they just taking a break until returning to the game).
