Question regarding damage modifiers and progression in portal servers.

@Echo6Echo how is it a hack? it makes the game more realistic. you get shot once or twice and you're dead. the mil sim people have always dug that * (not my cup of tea usually but i'd like to check it out for a game and see what it's about)

It's manipulation of something to gain an advantage or alter something, so by definition a hack. They are gaining advantage over AoW by making it easier to obtain an objective. I'm not saying they should be banned or anything and yes, Dice is allowing it to happen. The question is really are they doing it on purpose or was it a mistake. If you want to play a mil-sim or one shot game, then fine, play away but you shouldn't be allowed to progress easier or faster than someone playing AoW. Perhaps they turn off progression for those mods or halve them or something. They could simply come out and say "we're fixing it" or "working as intended".
