I would personally prefer active ranking system after level cap where performance of player is measured. Something which was done in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat based on points per hour rating. Something similar measurement would keep community active and engaged after reaching level cap while keeping competitive minds satisfied. Would require scoring logic change but it could clarify what actions are truly contributing.
