    There's an important note here. The sense that game needs a turnaround. That the issues are more than just tidying up the bugs and tossing around a bit of polish. A dev acknowledging that is a first.

    And perhaps I'm being merely optimistic, but the reference to the deeper code that may not show results yet is intriguing.

    One of the theories about 2042 is that what we got was a BF overlay on a BR base. If what they're doing is addressing the inadequacies of that base code for future improvements, essentially upgrading it to a BF base, that's probably a very good thing.

@TAW_Rinko One can hope but in my opinion I think he's referring to the next BF where they will "have learned their lesson"
