I started a thread saying how the Ranger shouldn't be in the game at all, but some people brought up an interesting idea:
It could maybe be reworked to carry ammo. I like this idea, and after thinking about it, they could add more features like disarming mines or something.
I also don't like the range of how far it can spot people. It should be toned down a bit.
Question about that....if it carries ammo, what would be the point of an ammo crate or Angel? It's already hard enough to get T1 without everyone having a robot following them around carrying ammo. I do agree about the distance nerf...it's insane how far it can see you through smoke, trees, buildings, etc.
I’m not sure how it would work, but I like the idea of things being reworked or balanced instead of just removing them.
I’d rather see it carry ammo and still be limited to two out at a time then shooting at people. It’s a little redundant, but I don’t think that’s really a problem either.
I don’t think it should be tied to any specialist to be clear. I like your idea, but I just don’t see it working into the game nicely.

If it replaces auto regen on a vehicle maybe...please not "in addition to".
- ElliotLH3 years agoHero+@Echo6Echo The health on vehicles auto regenerating doesn't really bother me too much, but I wouldn't be averse to going back to a system like in BF1. I was thinking in addition to though, simply as such a gadget might not be used as much as the turret.
