I am really curious how the balance will turn out with the upcoming changes. I used Angle for anti air, but with flares and stealth I switched to Rao in order to have minimum chance to score a hit with FMX. Now you at least have to use two people to really fight helicopters. Did they implement assists for SOFLAM markings? Also SOFLAM should be able to tag helicopter in stealth mode - when you keep SOFLAM on target. Otherwise infantry will be farmed big time…

if you believe that M5 is better then why nerf Rao? play your way (use M5) instead of advocating for a nerf to Rao and FXM. FXM or Rao has no ill effects on you using an M5
let's be hopen and honest in our discussion. your argument is a badly disguised attempt to nerf something that you find annoying and you want it to go away so you can farm infantry without a reliable counter. my argument is to make no changes to the ONLY reliable infantry counter to stealth helos (Rao's hack) and the only consistent way to chase off other helos (stinger). even if you can't shoot down the helo with a stinger it makes the helo pop flares and have to retreat for a short time
hitting a helo that is maneuvering with an M5 is blind luck. if it isn't blind luck then it shouldn't be hard for you to post 5 clips by tomorrow night (today is friday 1/13/23) of you doing it. to make sure they aren't old clips please use the same camo and use angel to do it (that gives you plenty of rockets to use). if you can't do that then it must not be that easy to do.
@PsubondOh, I'm still failing to make myself understood... I want to make AA fun for more players. Isn't it absurd that pilots are rewarded with the fact that enemy is having a boring time?
FXM shouldn't be the best choice for those who find it boring. I'm sorry if nerfing Rao and FXM is not a solution.

As a pilot my biggest fear was when I fly low or shoot at slow speed is m5. It's fast and very easy predictable where helo moves.
Also Its ohk and there might be more than 1 painter around the map that gives lock after flares.
Or someone hacked helo before flares is sitting duck when is painted.
nerfing the stinger and Rao is not neccesary for you to choose another weapon that you prefer
