Rao Hack working as intended?
Hello together, I keep it short. I use Rao to get my T1 achievement for the FXM-33. Normally my routine would be, hack the helicopter, aim at helicopter, shoot the missile and hope to get the kill....

@Captain_Tachi I’ve read in other posts, that there is a brief moment between the completion of a hack and the release of flares, that it looks like they flare afterwards but had technically popped before the hack was completed. I’ve also noticed that the flare time seems to be less as well, so yah a hack, and the interminable long lock on time can be enough for them to flare before your rocket can hit. It seems to push towards teamwork, with a Rao to plan a hack while a teammate is ready with a rocket. Even the trifecta of a hack, Soflam and rockets are being challenged by the short flare cool down. Having said all that, pilots need some chance to live and I think it’s intended to create a level of balance.
I understand the skepticism to my post and appreciate the comments. I don't have a video from it (maybe I should start recording my seasons for that...), so no proof but I also don't have motivation to lie.
It happened already 3 times this weekend, I was always on US team and it was the new Renewal map. The first time I thought, that I didn't finish the hack (maybe I a haven't) but the following two times, there was the message, that the hack was sucessfull. The helicopter has not used flares while I was hacking, because I could lock with the rocket launcher right after it. I know, that the time window between hack and rocket launcher is very short and that the Condor and the planes can outfly the rocket long enough, until the hack is over and the flares available again. But these two times, this was not the case. There was no delay between hack and rocket and the helicopter was right above me (maybe 200m) and the helicopter just used flares, as if there was no hack. It happened in three different games, don't know it it was the same pilot. It also happened only at Hokums (maybe one time it was a stealth helicopter but can't say for sure).
I just wanted to know, if this was intended. If not, I will keep an eye on it, I was just curious because I haven't seen this behavior at other helicopters this weekend and I was very sure, to hit these ones.
