Re: Battlefield 2042 Linux & Steam Deck EAC support

So not only do cheaters ruin the game for people they are also responsible for the entire Linux playerbase not being able to play the game at all now?

Nice to see that EA has made efforts to make a new anticheat, but for what purpose are you preventing thousands of Linux users from being able to play the game? Surley you have software engineers who are fully capable of programming the anticheat to work on Linux, or who are able to create a Linux specific version?

    Hey folks,

    As there is still no change in support for Linux or Steam Deck as was originally posted by @EA_Leeuw and this thread is regularly inactive for months at a time I'm going to go ahead and close it off.

    If there are any changes or if support for Linux or Steam Deck is added in future it will be posted here and other social channels.
