Yep. I'm going to give the mode a go still, but I don't remember especially enjoying Control and I'm worried that it'll be the same for Control Unlocked.
Then again, it might come down to simply not even having enough time to get the 80 ribbons required (unless I can manage to get 15 ribbons max per match, so I only need to play 6 matches).
I'm also a bit frustrated about the tenuous "earn them through ingame assignments at a later date". Just tell me the date so I can make an informed decision.

Yeah I am wondering if that's the reason as well @RanzigeRidder2. It could also be that they're worried that a lot of the playerbase will just avoid the event entirely if the date for the challenges is known.

I think it was a good decision to make the ribbons for "Death from above" obtainable in all modes instead of just "Control unlocked". Thanks @ Dice. 👍

WTH, Why have they decided to ponce around with this yet again and at this stage of the game's life.
These people can't be playing the game, or have any real knowledge of the BF Legacy otherwise they would realise they are ruining it.
Oh, and I don't recall being told we would have to start playing modes you don't want to or have to start earning specific ribbons to unlock the drone they dragged out after the last update where they also did not mention it was not coming out with the last update along with the Stadium.
Talk about drip feed.
