Re: Can we somehow mute the end of round cringe?

@ElliotLH Aye, Falk and Irish are the closest to a relatively tolerable person. The others are straight up teens flexing at others.

Since poor voice acting doesn't affect game play in any way I'm not sure why this would be any type of priority.

People sure are sensitive these days.

They're annoying. Betray the game setting's tone and thus don't belong in the game. If such strange and unfunny things were said in bf1, arguably one of the most immersive and dark Battlefield games, I would not have played it as much as I have.

Just because it does not affect gameplay does not mean that it is not worth noting. Scoreboard doesn't affect gameplay much either and yet people still want it and are still actively asking for it.

@rippedwire01 Some would argue a proper score board does affect gameplay. Spot cheaters more effectively no doubt.

I know I'd be much more likely to put on my try hard pants that's for sure.

For me the EOR screens are just annoying in general, not just the audio, but the fact that I cannot skip the screens and has to wait first for 3 individual players being shown and then also your squad as well.

I don't really care for these screens or stats and would like to be able to skip them.

Yeah. I thought about removing 'scoreboard' as an example. I agree with you though some have argued with me that a scoreboard is useless and so have defended it's removal. I disagree with them

Dice could make an option to remove the scoreboard for players that doesn't want to see it.

But I think the problem is more that other players can see their scores, so an option will probably not be enough for these people...

Have at agree about the voice overs. Thery are not the greatest and what about the in battle voice clips? Angel the crack head screaming TAKE IT TAKE IT!

I really hope the enemy can't hear his bloody foghorn voice.  He'd be about as stealthy as an elephant after getting shot in the neither regions.

Jeez the swerotron is a bit fussy..

@cso7777 I suggested a full Scoreboard at the end of the round. It would be something interesting to look at while the on screen gloating is occurring.

@cso7777 same here. I'd rather have the option to skip the insertion cinematic and stay in the loadout screen and skip the cringey Apex Legends EOR screen too.

I'd like that for the load in too. I'd much prefer to be tinkering with my load outs for that particular map than listening to the same set of orders and really long load in clip over and over again.

I already know why we're in Doha, you don't need to keep telling me evey time we go there. 🙄🙄

Just let me snap into the match as we're getting out if the plane, trust me Dice I know what to do next...

They should be completely removed, but if not we absolutely need a way to disable them, they are SO bad.

I guess younger players like all type of stuff. But yes giving us the ability to turn it off would be nice.

@yodalr Since we have a large thread about these voice lines already, I've merged yours in to it.

I think that along with the voice line they should a little jig as well 😏

On a serious note I’m all for there being a default curated experience, but for the love of god give us a settings panel to disable voice, and enable leaderboard, if that’s what we want.

@WienerBeard It is not the voice perforce per se, but the assertion by DICE that the Battlefield audience wants childish, silly and bombastic characters as their Battlefield experience. Fortnite, Modern Warfare and Apex have their own audience and enjoy a certain type of game. This audience expects something different and the DICE team epically failed to understand what we want ( or they caved to tone-deaf EA pressure).

I agree 100%, they certainly misjudged their audience with this one. !

the end round animation is for 8 year old children, period.  It's just amazing how badly they misjudged their customer considering the franchise has been around for so long.

I wouldn't even impose them on 8 year old kids unless it was for some form of punishment. 😬
