Re: EA doesn't seem to be keen on anti-cheat

@ForumUser
I know how you reason, but, I don't see anywhere that you include the KPM in the calculation, as it is an important core stat to include, otherwise it can easily be misleading.

I know these are not the ones you are referring to.
However, it may be statistically possible to have 100% acc and 100% headshot/ratio, if you want these values and think they are important. But then the KPM will also drastically drop, as this precision costs time.

Statistically, it could also be claimed that it is impossible to kill someone with an AR, if you have 10% acc. Then 3 shots hit and 27 miss the opponent, and the rest of the time is spent reloading.
Now, it is not that simple, because there is much else that also comes into the calculation.
But it gives an indication that something might not be right, when someone appears with low acc and high KPM, for example 3-5/kpm

The same can apply to all those who have normal acc, around 20% but have a KPM above average eg 3 and above. To get high KPM, you have to know where everyone is, this can be due to very good map knowledge or simply that ESP is used.

I think the closet cheaters guide each other on their closed forums, which Acc they should stick to, to not to be suspected.
Average is around 20% acc and 20-30% headshot ratio, and that's where you find most cheaters, but they usually stand out with their KPM.
I think they are also terrified of exceeding stats like Accuracy and headshot ratio, as they are what most people notice.
Therefore, I personally trust more one, which has higher Acc, but not alarming KPM. As this can show that they have nothing to hide, apart from the cheater. Where the statistics can go completely wrong, if they are not aware of this, when a program takes care of playing for them.

    KPM is one stat that can be taken into account as a hint, but that one depends too much on the play style and can vary a lot. If you only play Redacted you can have a higher KPM as a legit player than a cheater playing casually on a big open map and only kills you instantly when she actually sees you and shoots at you.

    But overall accuracy and HS% are values that can be used to identify a cheater with absolute certainty. There are ways around being detected and as you wrote some cheaters might know how to use aimbots while still keeping those stats in the non-suspicious range. But there are thresholds that you can have NOW that will identify MANY cheaters with absolute certainty.

    Just as an afterthought, given how many cheaters we encounter now that you can identify with certainty (given ACC+HS% alone) it boggles my mind how many more there must be that you can't because they dial down on those stats or 'simply' running with wallhacks that you can't identify (as I mentioned, when just using those on occasion would be undetectable as this would not even raise KPM to any level that would be suspicious or even close to what good players would reach anyway as there are legit players with K/D of >6 and 3.5 KPM).

    An unpopular view but

    Anyone who has their stats on private is suss for me hahaha more so if the gameplay reflects that.

    They have the mindset well if they cant see my stats i wont get reported sadly it doesnt work that way.
