@-NME-M0710NM4NAre you serious…autohotkey is basically macro’s and is against tos and is banned in multiple games!
This is all starting to make much more sense now

First off... how the heck did you pull off getting such an explanation and I get a "unable to provide any details regarding our internal operations."?

As for this injection they mention in your case... do you happen to use AutoHotKey? I'm waiting to hear back from my 3rd attempt to get this overturned, if my use of AHK may have triggered the ban.
As he's living in europe he has filled a GDPR-request (General Data Protection regulations) refering to article 15, which is part of the Law within the European Union. Done the same, but still waiting for an answer. Regarding GDPR a company has to hand over additional data/explanations if asked for. So he might just have asked them about further details and exact reasoning according to our laws as EA is having a lot of branch offices all over europe and Dice HQ is also located over here.

@-NME-M0710NM4N Nope, no autoHotkey here. I have been using it ages ago for sound device swapping but that was several years and other computer(s).

- Logitech G Hub (for configuring mouse DPI and keyboard RGB, no macros)
- Steelseries Engine app for headset
- Discord
- Nvidia GFE
- Display Fusion for desktop management/Window positioning
- Forticlient for VPN
- Windows Defender

@emerson1975 Macros? My keyboard and mouse both can do macros. Even one of the Reps I was on the phone mentioned how he never has had issues with his macor capable hardware.

It's not my fault they can't code a game properly and was sick of not being able to use vehicles like the Bolte etc because of their hardcoding of Look Left and Look Right. So I used it for a couple weeks till I got tired of having to turn it off and on all the time.

@QU4NT0R No I got this before the GDPR request, but it does relate because they apparently have more personal information in regards to the bans.

It’s banned in plenty of games.
Just a mere reading of the tos will tell you not to use it

@indi81 Hmmm... I wonder if some Kind of RGB-extension could have triggered it in my case... I'm running some Ambilight around my Monitor and also have some Nanoleaf-Light-Panels at my wall... Both, the Nanoleaf Desktop and the Aquasuite (RGB controlling and watercooling Monitoring) are grabbing/analyzing signals going to the graphics card and transforming them to corresponding light at the light panels and the leds at the back of my monitor.

@emerson1975 Well if that's the case the why don't they ban hardware as well like my Corsair keyboard that can do macros and my Logitech mouse that can do macros? And if their software can pick it up then it should be able to notice that I'm not using a macro that's only being used for left and right on my arrow keys that's it. There's software must really suck if it can't distinguish between rebinding keys versus using a macro

@emerson1975 I don't know about AHK, cause I never installed or used it on my computer. But you've the same possible functionality in nearly all modern Keyboard/Mouse Software... I'm also using the logitech G Hub for a G910 Keyboard and a G502 wireless mouse.... Also have the older software LGS (Logitech Gaming Software) installed as I do have an older G13-device which is not supported by GHub. You can even programm LUA-scripts within GHub.

Funny thing: GHub Software is officially supported by Battlefield for years now as it's sending it's own light effects to the Keyboard/Mouse. Also they now have in-game-advertissements for Logitech...

I also have some macros on my keyboard, but none of them is related to any game. It's just for changing Lightning effects or opening specific programs I use very often (Word, Blender, aso.)

@-NME-M0710NM4N AHK will be flagged by the anti cheat due to the fact you can run tons of scripts on it.
It’s been flagged by blizzards anti cheat too and the anti cheat for pubg

@QU4NT0R I have a g503 on my second pc along with a razor keyboard and all I can say is that I have not been banned so I can only presume that’s not the reason why you are

@emerson1975 I've been running AHK for years on the background (it's always ran as it's also in startup) but never interacts with any of my games. It's just for skipping, pausing songs.
So as long as it doesn't interact with games, you should be safe. Apex is also an EA game + uses Easy Anti Cheat and never banned there.
Or it could be DICE's implementation that picks up AHK no matter what.. though I doubt it. I still believe it has something to do with GHUB, iCUE

@thegoodcharlesI just emailed support asking them again if it could be the AHK and why I was using it. Even put a link into it that shows I created a thread in the Bugs section a MONTH ago about the problem.

Bro stop trolling. If AHK is the issue, I wonder why i am banned. I have it installed. But its not running and has not been running for a few months.

@ItsOnlyM3-NL Well to honest... all of us are scratching our heads. Some of us seem to have the same programs running, like iCue... but not everyone. Same for GHub... lot of us have it, but then a lot that are being banned that aren't using it.

There doesn't seem to be a common denominator. So if it's iCue... then why have some been banned that don't own any Corsair products so they wouldn't be running it? I think it's just that EAC is broke and they don't want to admit it.

@indi81 The only ones I share with you are G-Hub, Discord, and Windows Defender. Beyond those all I have running would be Steam, and Origin, since those are mandatory. I occasionally will pull up YT on Google Chrome in the background for music. Those are the only things I have running. I have the light-sync thing activated on the mouse, which is the Logitech MMO mouse. I don't think the Logitech software would trigger it though, because there would be a lot more people reporting this, I think. At this point, who really knows?

@thegoodcharles AHK can easily used as a cheat manipulation with use of scripts.
AHK has been used with battlefield games in the past and that’s probably why dice have deemed it fit to flag the program.
The tos specifically mentions 3rd party programs so use at your own risk

@emerson1975 Well the same can be asked about a game in the year 2021 where two typical keys that are used for movement or hard coded to other movement keys. And the screwed up thing is that if you look in the settings there's actually two settings for look left and look right but even unbinding them to anything those two arrow keys for left and right are still hard coded to look left and look right.

@QU4NT0R I have some installed apps from ASUS as well, Aura and a whole myriad of auto-installed things related to control RGB on the motherboard.
