Looking at other forums and how there utilized, seems this EA/BF forum isn't the way to get help or answers.

Reason why I say community manager* on other forums there are usually tabs from community managers of what they commented on, and or helped with answering. Seems we cannot get answers on here from, developers or employees address the games issues. Seems Twitter is there only communication for answering youtubers or picked random questions that are only good for PR purposes.

Can someone hit me with actual help for a good BF reddit link. Thanks 👍

And some of the answers I was looking for is the games performance on PC. This memory leak isn't addressed a lot and I think its being held back from communication.

Anyway thanks for any feedback !

I get what you’re saying man. Tons of posts with very little response or answers from developers or employees. Look how many posts are coming thru every day. Incredible amount, thanks.

Fully agreed!

There is literally zero connection with or representation here on the forum from any of the real BF game designers or developers!

A huge miss from EA's side and also just adding to compounding the trouble.

It is rare that any problem is being fixed just by ignoring it forever.

@CyberDyme So an announcement of fixes for issue the 'community' have pointed out and acknowledgment of other issues is now a 'dictatorial decree'?

What the hell are you expecting, a cozy chat down the pub over a pint or two?

    Hahaha no @Trokey66 ,

I am not expecting that, though it would have been a great thing to do together!  😎👍

Software update release notes are fine, but also part of the absolute bare minimum requirements for EA to deliver on.

But yes, they are still one-way only.

    Zero dialog.

What the BF player community is craving for is meaningful engagement from EA's side with their product leaders/game designers/developers in a proper dialog.  And see EA engage directly with aka the bugs we have been reporting on, and see EA transparently how they classify them and prioritize them for a fixing or not.  Today we have none of that.  Its all behind a stonewall.

Likewise many posts with fundamental questions here on the EA Answers HQ forum remains open and unanswered for.

Like regarding aka the pricing model, what does the season passes entail, what is it we have to pay for, how frequently and why, etc.  EA have pre-sold for millions and still the customers are now first after the fact experiencing that what they paid for is not what they were left to believe it was, now when they see the shortcomings of certain licensing aspects of factually how it now works or doesn't work for them.

I trust we all agree on that EA should not try and fool some quick money out from customers.  But instead do what is possible to establish and keep growing a base of returning repeat customers.  (because they are satisfied with their total customer experience and want to buy again and more from EA)

I get that you want to talk to developers and alike but they are also working on the game I assume we want more content and updates to the game? 🙂 @CyberDyme

  • @EA_Atic Yes, the community i think cant expect devs to come here and answer to questions. That's the managers job.

I've posted a few comments, non positive ones, I'll admit that and a question regarding the scoreboard and I've seen some threads over at reddit too about that particular issue but I haven't seen or heard anything from dice/ea. Surely you guys must have already discussed that internally and know what the future plans are and could communicate that to us?

    Hi @EA_Atic ,

Sorry, not having time to interact with customers is a terrible bad excuse.  And it is not like EA only has 1 developer, is it?

No, it is not. (just to confirm, to those that may still be in doubt, when looking at the output...)

So if one of the folks from the game dev management team would care to spend just 1 hour or so once and in a while to post a few answers to the most frequent open questions, then at least it would show some level of customer care and involvement from the EA core team working on BF.  Not too much to ask from a listed company as EA.  EA has to care about their customers if they care about repeat business with them.

Such time to listen to and answer to customers is even one of the best investments of time an R&D team can spend.

Avoiding many of the pitfalls they now appear to have to go back and fix now in final product, because they didn't do it proactively in the first place.
