I just started playing my very first battlefield game from the battlefield games. The only one I have now played is battlefield 2042 I started playing after getting a xbox for chirstmas  lately 8 have been averaging between 100 kills -- 300 kills per individual match. I noticed that I'm always ranked first at the end of the match and it has label on top of my name as butcher. I look at the leader board I'm confused because the rest of the 64 players in the match average about 5--30 kills during the same match.  So my question is am I not looking at the right leader board because I have only been playing this game for like 8 days so I KNOW im probably Trash and a nube. So I'm not trying to play stupid but serious question I know I need to getting better st battlefield 2042 BUT I just had my own best match with something like 350 kills IS THAT AVERAGE PLAYER , BELOW AVERAGE PLAYER, CRAPPY  PLAYER, PRETTTY GOOD PLAYER , A BEAST PLAYER

    I got an Xbox for Christmas. I haven't had a game system since the n sixty four when I was a kid. So it's been 20 years since I've played a video game. I battlefield 2042. Is the first game set up played. I've been playing It for 8 days. I have zero friends on my xbox, literally zero. So I don't know if I'm even good cause. I don't know how to compare myself to other players. I barely know how to work the Xbox. The only thing I know how to do is. Turn it on press on battlefield press on conquest. Edit my gun class. Actually play The Game. So would someone tell me? From looking at this screenshot from my last match. Seeing my stats, can someone tell me if I'm below average player? An average player, pretty good player. Or beast player from what you can see in a screenshot

    I need to know a tip to counter the AR spread. SMGs and LMGs feel more accurate than the ARs.

    Hi @Bearndwoods The squad you're in is call Butcher (the game uses its own version of the phonetic alphabet), but I think you might be getting thrown off by the game combining your kills and assists (you have made over 300 kills on their own though so GG). If you wanted to check your kills, it should be the first column after the names on the scoreboard itself which you can bring up during a match.

    it looks like you're playing with AI rather than real players, though, so they aren't likely to top you on the scoreboard usually.

    @Bearndwoods Looking at the screenshots it seems you’ve been playing a solo/coop match vs AI bots. This is a good way to practice and get used to the game’s mechanics such as gunplay.
    It also works great to level up in guns, vehicles and characters.

    However it’s not a benchmark of what kind of player you are compared to others, as the AI in this game is very weak. You will need to play several multiplayer matches vs real players to get an idea how you compare to others.
