Re: Hind only 5 seconds flare cooldown? Impossible to destroy all game (not Portal)

@JaychuraeIve experienced a handful of times that the hind stayed up all game, flying from point to point, hugging terrain here and there and basically farming the flags the whole time. Impossible to deal any damage with stinger, impossible to bring down with tankshells too because of one or two reppers (dont even think of Liz), impossible to bring down with wildcat because of short exposure to weakish AA gun, the thing absorbs way too much damage this way.

Only had this on certain 64p maps and 128p exposure. Mayor annoyance and the counters the game gives infantry did not work. This is with more than 4 people running stingers.

Jets couldnt down it because it moved around too much (also below radar all the time) thus couild not deal any viable damage.

Stinger needs a dumb fire function imo.

    I am more concerned about why only 4 people deemed it worth their time to react to a hind that stayed up for the entire round.

    They could have been people using the Rao hack to bleed the Hind's mobility, tracer dart, SOFLAM, Liz missiles piling up the damage (I think that about 4 liz missiles at once would do the job), TOR taking advantage of the low flights.

    I would also not consider any jet pilot who depends on Air to Air missiles vs a Hind to be experienced enough. 25mm cannon is the way to go, combined with either rocket pods or designated AGM (I am not sure if bellow radar affects designation).
