Re: I feel we deserve a refund reguardless of how much time we've played.

Having a refund timescale of a very small play time amount is madness on a game that is a constant work in progress (DICE know it's a work in progress, that's their release model with all BF games), in the first few hours play you don't get the full picture of what the games final form will be. This is tantamount to buying an Early Access game IMO.

I think they should make a list BEFORE release of any of the core legacy features that they are removing with reasons why and the likelyhood of them ever coming back along with any new features they are adding and if they don't deliver in a certain time frame (I mean, for a non Early Access game that should technically be at launch but we've gotten used to BF being a work in progress) then you should be able to easily request a refund or partial refund that decreases the longer you leave it without going through PayPal and having EA just ban you and wipe you off of all of their servers for all games you own. That way you have the choice to pick the game up again in the future if they eventually do add everything they promised.

Personally if I knew ahead of time that so many legacy features were going to be missing at launch and may or may not even return at all because some of them are clearly design choices then I wouldn't have bought the game. Yes the game can be fun at times and there are a few cool features in it but that doesn't alter the fact that so many things are missing or broken and we paid full price.

Yes I've owned all BF games so I know how the launches go, things are broken usually and they do always ending up fixing them over time but this time round so much is missing with no explanation, missing legacy features that are always expected in a BF game being missing is IMO misleading and therefore mis-selling so refunds should be made quick and simple in a friendly manor. If they were up-front about features then we could all make an informed decision about whether or not we want the game or not, as it is no one knows what's coming back and what isn't.

Personally I've always preordered BF games and dealt with the rocky launch because they always fix it in the end but it's different this time, this time it was underhandedly miss-sold intentionally so I honestly won't ever be preordering an EA game again.

It's just a shambles.
