That really is a bad situation and very unfair of EA to not include a region select or at the very least starting the search in the nearest region to yours after a period of time has elapsed.
C'mon EA, this is just plain unfair to your consumers.
Yeah it's really bad here, + there isn't a ping issue when I join EU lobbies, my ping is arouns 60-80 when joining German lobbies so I don't know why they do that, I basically deserve a refund if I'm literally unable to play the game I bought...

Totally agree with you, everyone must have access as a minimum requirement.
Where do you draw the line with out of region players?
High pings have a negative effect on everyone else in the server.

This is a tough question; it is obvious that OOR players have a negative effect on everyone on the server. But they do need access if the game is sold in their region.
JMHO As I mentioned before, I play at 60-80 ping when I connect to EU servers, which is way below the unacceptable limit

What is the unacceptable limit?
For the players 2ms over that limit what would you tell them?

This is the 100-dollar question. The servers already have TTK/TTD issues lag and Hit Reg issues. high pings might push them over the edge.Anything above 140 ping is considered an unpleasant experience for both sides.

I play on the west coast of the US, when I play the south American servers, I was unstoppable, it wasn't a good experience for the South Americans I'm pretty sure. This was only at 80 ping.

Meh.
I used to play in Australia with a 150 to 160 ping on US West Coast servers in 1 and V and it was fine.
I lost every infantry 1 vs 1 all things being equal so I was the one at a disadvantage but tanking was fine and there's more to battlefield than he who shoots first.
