Yes, this is possible. 🙌
If you have the Xbox One version of the game installed on the Xbox Series Console you can play with others that are directly on their Xbox One Console.

It's cool especially as you have a Cross-gen bundle. So you can install the New-gen and the Old-gen version of the game on youe Xbox Series, and then decide who to play with by choosing which version of the application you want to run.
