it still does not support multi-input devices though.  the X-52 uses a link cable and sends all the data to a single USB.  however, migrate to the bigger setups,  the X55/56 that use dual independent USB inputs, and only the stick works, the throttle becomes a controller and 50% of the time, locks the game up entirely forcing a task manager close.

Thrustmaster t.10000m any HOTAS setup that requires 2 inputs - still doesn't work. i know why,  ive brought it up to DICE - lost count now.  and its the simplest fix ever.   But im not risking a game ban by fixing it myself as it requires 2 additional files in the core root directory that relate to directinput, hidinput and one other directX input that make a setup that uses the same HIDBrandCLASS but two independent devices of that same brand class work together.

EAC will either EAC Ban me for, or signal to DICE i have unauthorized files in the directory for an i get slapped with an account ban.

Totally bummed out they still haven't added full JS controllers yet, or even if they plan too. I have a Sidewinder Precision 2 JS and it doesn't work yet either.

@AOD_CapStar362 I’ve managed to get my 3D Pro to work, but not my X52. Even turning all the mouse analogs off, it still spins my character in a circle. The X52 is such a better stick than the Pro, how can this not have been fixed yet? They worked in the past games as recently as V.

@ATFGunrexactly my point - every PC Title in the 20 years of BF worked with Joysticks natively.  why 20 years later its an issue?

BFV and BF1 worked natively with my X56, a multi-input setup. now, BF4 and all prior titles do not support multi-input, i can understand that, but even then, games like ARMA 3 natively supported multi-input and many other titles support multi-input. i had the X-52 for BF4, 3, BC2, 2 and 2142.  i had the original Thrustmaster TopGun setup for 1942 though.  i got the X-55 for BF1 and other titles, but then moved to the X-56 for its RGB, but its the exact same build as the X-55 just RGB capable unlike the 55 which is just Green Lighting like the 52 was.

As far as BF goes - this is 2022/23 BF2042 should be NATIVELY supporting the latest and greatest of controllers and PC Hardware.

As ive said in the past - looking at the root directory of BF2042, comparing it to other games that Multi-Input works - there are 2 key files missing that enable multi-input. its as simple as that to fix.

But im not risking my 20 year account to a game and possibly account ban by adding them myself. this is simple logic 101 stuff for a video game.
