@vulcansuedewell if your operating system is older than 12 months I would definitely recommend doing it, it solves so many issues, if its a newer installation than 12 months it shouldn't really need it, if its a few years then stuff gets messed up in the registry/ I have had pcs that even resets don't fix only a clean install did

    Try turning XMP off in bios. If it doesn't fix BSOD then turn XMP back on. Take a picture of bios settings with your phone before changing them.

    Do you have ASUS Armory Crate installed? I did not install it with my ASUS MB. Maybe try uninstalling that, ASUS makes a tool for this.
