weird aiming in game

i am not sure what it is..but my experience the last month is that there a quit a few people who snap on to and kill me instantly.

There are no missed shots...no aiming..I am instantly dead. Doesnt matter if I meet them at a corner..or i see them in the distance...even walking slightly away. They hit mee..

Once is a while there seems to be a normal round..but mostly...the hits come so fast..it feels un natural.

Is that a network issue?

  • Could be cross play/Server issue/cheats

I had to finally uninstall. I have never had a game make me rage like this one.

  • I have similar problems --- makes me think a lot of players may be cheating ???

i though or think..that too. But it happens so often. I can hardly imagine there is so much cheating

You might say, I couldn't possibly comment. It's been like this since BF2. Look at it this way, it may help you to improve. I play on same server, we know who the "enhanced" players are, all we ask is that we get an even split across both teams (yea, more than one) otherwise game over in about 7 minutes.

  • part of it is 2024 is like COD MW II / III (the reboot ones, not the good originals lol), so there's a gun meta. the gun meta is the devs make certain guns  basically OP with basic stats (hard hitting, rapid fire, handling is really good, short ADS time, accurate hipfire etc), and certain attachments bring those features even more. They did it first cuz it was consistent skin purchases, everyone figures out the meta guns and rocks them and of course new skins for them . . .  but then it was out of laziness and catering to streamers who like to talk about gun builds / attachments and gun meta (plus since COD mktg team tends to tell the popular streamers with favorable status in COD  what next season and gun meta is) .

COD and Warzone / BO ADS is turbo fast, and there's attachments that basically ADS instantly, so it's almost like hip firing, plus you can slide and dive while ADS-ing. And gun meta is 2-3 shots hit anywhere will drop them . . . this is  before attachments and with right attachments usually its lowers the TTK by one or more bullet hits. drops someone, plus attachments make no recoil , and basically  hard hitting, rate of fire is mini gun like.

So 2042 has this, so in COD movement and fast aim is a thing, and with the BO omnimovement (basically its slide and dive in any direction and can seamlessly get back into tac sprinting ) ppl tend to add aim bot  or use controller with auto aim (controllers have good auto aim).

Also some people have fast FPS and still , The other factor is there are people thousands of hours in 2042, know every map and what  lane

I have run into cheaters, but man it isn't as bad as in COD BO6 or Warzone, basically Warzone or ranked 80% of the lobby is running something. Someone even figured out how to have the COD audio into a radar for you.

I do notice some cheats (like ppl in little birds that click heads and slay squads in one pass while flyling nucking futz and juking and evading like 9G's isn't enough and makes UFO's and UAP leave the chat. Or guys in redacted using the prototype to hit me thru walls, one hit.  Or a common is you get shot and killed without realizing it was happening (usually someone knows your position even behind cover) or in a jet doing an afterburner turn at 600 and a tank shell ruins my day. However, the cheats aren't that often, like maybe 2 out of 10 games or so.  In Tarkov and B0 6 (sad our games crew left those two games due to the rampant cheating) you could expect every round to have someone running stuff.

I think the devs are gathering data on cheaters in 2042 and enforce in BF 6. But it's not as bad as COD, like in both beta's for B0 and now BO7, cheaters were in a few hours in (devs recycled the same engine since MW 2019)

Actually sometimes the cheaters bring fun in. One of the games I had a little bird on opposite team that was cheating (one hit mini guns and 2 prototype gunner clicking heads. Somone in team chat said to go support with ammo, roll with some crawfords, get two draugrs, some get wildcats,  some recons with SOFLAM, have a bunch of avancy mgunners and rest rolling vehicles with mini guns and just KOS every little bird. everyone was scrambling to get the opfor little bird. It was like mad max, which vehicles converging where someone called out where the opfor little bird was (its by the arch, now its by A etc . . .) and our team had stealth copter and fully seated blackhawk zipping for that thang,

  • Most of the time this is related to server issues - the hit reg problem - and running this on virtual servers. Could be cheat - a look at the persons k/d will give you another hint - if like 51/3 - then most likely cheat  - if it looks more normal - then server lag or your own side - router / pc etc.

i do not think cheats were as widely spread as they are now. I do not even think people see them as wrong anymore

to be honest..I think the cheaters are just trying out how strict they are in checking. They will continu. Just saw a cheaters..that just called his nickname..temporary.

Just now 3 out of 5 game got blatant cheaters, 95% headshot rate etc

I am also seeing high level players who use to play well, but now they seem to be cheating also, not sure if they got frustrated or what happened, getting 100-10 kills, every close encounter you die in less than a second

The claim that the developers are collecting data ahead of the BF6 release to ban cheaters later is pure self-deception and wishful thinking. They've been collecting data since the dawn of time, yet cheaters have consistently slipped through every anti-cheat system.

And holding off on bans just to "clean up" the next title would be a slap in the face to everyone still playing 2042 and the older games. The reality is, anti-cheat is already running at full capacity, this is as good as it gets.

Just wait until Friday when BF6 drops, you're almost guaranteed to see cheating on the level of, or even worse than, COD. That is, if the game actually sells well.
