Hi, so I did some testing. The server will be listed only if you search for it. If you create an experience and only you join the server, it will not be visible to other players. You have to get a friend to join your created experience and only then will it be listed and visible to other players. Which defeats the purpose of hosting a portal experience. 

Basically, two different people need to be on the server for it to be visible. I am currently emailing back and forth with EA regarding this issue, and I * you not they basically told me to come here to EA answers and look for a solution myself.

Here are their responses, "After reviewing your case, I came to know that you have quires regarding the Game Battlefield server visibility.

    @F5-RavenRM That's weird because it used to show, but now it doesn't. Also, I see quite a few servers on the browser with nobody in them.

    @F5-RavenRM 'Sunsetting' is leaving the servers up with the game playable, but not doing any more development or content work on it.

    Did they seriously say Battlefield 2042 is a sunset game!?! We're not even through season 2 yet, and they are still talking about patches and developments to come!

    @EA_AticPC, Oceanic (Australia). No freezing or crashing today, only a little stuttering at one point. It was good to play together with friends and none of us crashed out.

    The different modes did populate with other people today (we have cross play enabled) so it seems like our problem here is just underpopulation. Can't start the 64v64 player servers easily without very long waits.

    I miss the full fledged server browser.


    However, it is good that you can now join on friends in a full squad, even if you can't 'stay together' after a round without needing to join on them after they join the next server, again. Really hope they can work on this - one of the biggest things Battlefield had over other games was allowing lots of friends to play together, instead of being reduced to groups of 4. It meant communities, clans, all of us in game nights, etc.

    @EA_Atic I am playing on Xbox One and I am in Western Australia. I have done what Stratford said and checked the Persistent server option, however I am still not seeing it in the lobby. I have played one full round on my own in it to see if that would make a difference, but still no joy.

    Hey everyone, 

    After you are hosting the server, can you look in the server browser and filter with the name only. Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing.

    @EA_AticI tried a bit and I got what's the problem...
    the search option "Free Slots:" is really buggy...
    I switched it to "any" and there my server showed up, I switched it to 1-5 it's not, next 6-10 not, 11+ it shows up again( wtf?...) and via the default option "For party" (without beeing in a party) it only shows up if I have choosen any of the options before, but if I go normally into the search tab and this is selected the server won't show up

    @EA_Atic If you search for it by name the server is visible. Anyone who searches for the server by name will see it. The problem is, how will other players know what you named your server and how will they search for it with no idea that you even created one.

    What was intended? Are empty persistent servers supposed to appear on server browser (without having to manually search for them - otherwise that would defy the whole purpose)?

    @EA_Atic Any update on this? My server has only popped up once, and I can still not see it. Confirming that it is checked as a persistent server.

    Hello I also have the same problem, I hosted a persistent server after I bought the premium battlepass, everyone of us(me and my friends) can’t find our server unless we search the key words of our portal namw which is : 

    Classic Conquest 64 VA 64 SEA SERVER

    Please help

    also just to let you guys know a lot of persistent servers can only be seen by searching the title key words but if you scroll in the browse server menu you wont find them
