Thanks for doing absolutely nothing to improve this aspect of the game with this patch! You've outdone yourselves once again!
The AI appears to be even dumber than ever. My! My! What an accomplishment!

Glad I found this thread with like-minded people. I don't like to play PVP much, I prefer the co-op against advanced bots but it's frustrating not being able to gain ribbons or levels for my weapons. I do love this game but I think this oversight will certainly take away much of its replayability and long term enjoyment 😔
- @Spinner1981 Well, most games would have at least worked out their bugs by now. Yet, here we are. All these months later still dealing with all kinds of crap from last year. You think they would go out of their way to alleviate some of the "growing pains". Naw! Quite the opposite in fact!
I can tell you one thing. This was not only my last Dice game i purchased but the last EA product in general. Oh but don't worry guys! They're giving us free stuff like a free tea bag charm for our guns! That makes everything so much better and fixes the problems.
(It doesn't. I can't put into words how much I despise this company's negligence)

I'm east coast USA, age 57. PvE ONLY. plus some other shooters too.
- @Pekmez-Pita I would say that they have turned up their accuracy though. No doubt in my mind that they have. YET they won't turn full progression back on.
Been saying this over and over again since they nerfed the solo/coop progression due to farming...
Dice, please...either in 2042 OR the next BF game...just simply give our in-game profiles 2 separate progressions. A solo/coop progression (PvE) AND a competitive progression (PvP). Both using the same exact unlocks/ribbons/attachments/skins, etc.
This way whatever we earn in PvE stays in PvE and whatever we earn in PvP stays in PvP...there, EVERYONE HAPPY AND WE ALL WIN AND PLAY HOW WE WANT, and DICE ENDS UP THE HERO!
*** Would be nice if one of the EA Mods here could get this suggestion into the right hands at the dev dept.
- @Chief2GFD yeah they have shot me straight out of helichoppers. Have they turned it back on yet? See there is no news on this, yet Portal still has EMP grinder servers still rampant. Dice why wont you turn on full xp and progress in solo/coop? Especially when people can grind tons of xp in no time in Portal, that you cant even do in solo/coop!!!

Same reason why half the new weapons they just release are for PvP only. To make the PvP players feel "special".
They feel it's ok to diminish PvE players world-wide...but god forbid they do anything to turn off a PvP player, or even the LGBT players for that matter, heh.
Apparently they feel that PvE is bottom of the totem pole, not worth talking to or responding to

- @LucidDreaming84 I would bet that it hasn't been turned back on because of PvP players complaining. It was advertised with full progression across ALL game modes and taken away because of the XP farmers in Portal. Then the PvP players have spoken up that the PvE should not get the same progression as them. I'd give my honest response to that, but we all know that I'd end up on "vacation". It is painfully obvious that EA/Dice don't give a rats butt about the PvE community.
@Chief2GFDPVP players can grind many many 10s (sometimes even 100s) of 1000s of xp and prog in a round in certain Portal servers so there is nothing to complain about. And usually they always full-ish when Im browsing through the Portal servers. Cant even get anywhere near as much in solo/coop.
There is literally no issue and no reason at all as to why solo/coop still needs to be restricted, Dice, just turn off the restrictions in solo/coop, its time.
Cant even change anything in it apart from the difficulty..............................

- @Chief2GFD That's nothing new. They have always been able to pin point you across the map and aim bot you with one shot out of a moving helicopter. Of course they made that aspect even worse than it was. As if the solo mode didn't have enough deterrents as it is.
