Re: Razor Turret support for the disabled?

Honestly if it were me, I would return the game before 2 hours played so I could get my refund and wait to see if it's ever fixed.

  • @sk1lld Thanks for that input. Unfortunately your comment has no bearing on the topic. Maybe you can make one that is? That will be great if you can. Funny that you post on BF2042 forums and discourage people from playing the game.

The devs will not add MnK support for the game. So no need in discussing your topic further. If you can't play the game otherwise without a MnK then yes I would see about getting a refund.

  • @NazT55 So you are saying folks that are disabled cannot play BF2042? Or that not supporting a "officially licensed" controller for XBOX that helps the disabled gaming community enjoy the experience of playing Battlefield 2042 is a "bad" idea? I have had both versions since presale. So refund is not in the cards. Are you a Dev? Just wondering as you seem to be speaking for them. Thank you for your input. Cheers!

@st0n3d3lta Hi there, it sucks that 2042 hasn’t offered support for mouse and keyboard in general, and certainly not for a specific issue that would allow a person differently able to play. The other posters have suggested a legitimate course of action based on months (or years) for seeing what EA and Dice have been willing to provide. Their suggestion to get a refund is really coming from a good place. It’s not that they don’t want you to play the game, a lot of us have been here since day one when the game was absolutely a piece of garbage. We have watched them take months to fix even minor things. If you hold onto the game for too long, even if you don’t play, they won’t give you a refund. Honestly they’re not bringing M&K support anytime soon, and you’ll be out of pocket $100+. If they ever fix it, you could buy it again. You could contact EA Support and engage them directly. You’re positing in public forums where even the Community Moderators have zero ability to help you. Rather than get mad at the people who are really honestly trying to help you, maybe realize that not all forum members are trolls and most of us really want to help you. You’re blaming us for a developer issue, and one that they have publicly said they are not working on. Good luck whatever you choose.
  • This is about one "officially Licensed" product (The Razor:Turret as the topic title says). One that already has free software support for Microsoft XBOX. Not PS5 or any other version.

    Thank you for the info.

    Cheers!

  • I too have been on BF2042 since day one of public beta. Not everyone here is a troll, and I am not mad at those that are being trolls. Every online community has them. There are a rainbow of colors in the Battlefield community. The point of this and nearly all my posts is to raise awareness. maybe someone does read it from the dev team. or the post causes a greater effect somewhere else. to elevate the awareness of the whole community. not just the Dev's. Maybe it is a cry for help, and I am making a plea for something more inclusive to everyone's needs. I appreciate your thoughtful and well put comment and am grateful you are reaching out to help. If you or anyone wants to help me see this "tiny change" that can create a larger effect in so many lives of gamers with disabilities. post this to twitter and other social media accounts for EA, Dice, and other official Battlefield accounts. to let the rest of the world, know that there are gamers out there who just want to play, and without change. They are being left behind.

    Cheers!

I'm really sorry you thought I was trolling you. I really was trying to help. It's been over a year now with EA/DICE stating it currently not working on mouse and keyboard support.

Sorry I linked the wrong thread I forgot about this one.

I wish you good luck whatever you do.

@AngrySquid270 Thanks for the link. the adaptive controller does not work for my needs. I appreciate you looking out though!
    cheers!
  • @sk1lld I appreciate the apology. The reason I am making this post is to try and gain attention of some one at EA or Dice (or both) to this issue.
    I appreciate your informative input.
    Cheers!
