Re: remove your vehicle call in system

Lets take another way of countering aircraft out of the game and then proceed to make X number of threads about aircraft being too strong.

@protoman23 At this point with all the whining and broken nerfs I'd say just dump the vehicles altogether since that seems to be the root of the complaints. Roll the game back to where it was in Jan, then we'll see where to go from there.

I know someone will cry 'but BF always had vehicles'. Yeah but we also haven't disabled a game after a year to solve a problem that didn't exist when it launched. No nerfs, no classes, undo the balancing they tried to apply to vehicles, just let the players figure out how to get the job done using all the gadgets available.

The people that had issue with X should have just played portal and turned off whatever they don't like and tried to build a community around it. Portal was for people that wanted the freedom to play the game they want it to be played, but they're too lazy and would rather play random matchmade games in AoW.

@DPsx7 my brother in christ, did you ever hear about Battlefield V?
not once, not twice not thrice but four times did DICE change the entire gunplay top to bottom trying to fix their TTK/TTD issues...
stop trying to make every thread about your petty crusade to remove class restrictions from the game again... if you want that make your own thread see how people respond to it...
this game is not about you

@X-Sunslayer-XI only played 1 and 5 for a while, they weren't what I wanted from BF.

This was, and since I'm right I won't stop voting for the removal of classes and finally putting this game back on the right path. Staying quiet means the trolls win and the game fails. People are leaving because of the great nerf and it's getting worse.

All you want to do is cry about gameplay features, stripping everything out to make it easier for you to play. That's wrong. BF isn't supposed to be realistic.

The vehicle call-in mechanic (while innovative) ultimately is just too problematic, vehicles should spawn on the map, vehicle types and quantity should be tied to each individual map for balancing purposes.

I'll agree removing the free loadouts in THIS game shouldn't have happened, especially after almost a year into the game's life cycle (and many on these boards said as much) but it's done, and I doubt they are going to reverse course.

You can continue to shout at clouds if you like but I don't think you'll sway them any.

That being said, Classes are in fact a foundational core component of a Battlefield title along with Server Browser, Persistent Servers, Squad Management, All-chat, Scoreboard, Clan/Platoon Support etc. etc.

I hope to see these features return in the next game and that EA/Dice forever ditch this ridiculous matchmaking boondoggle, the specialists and their abilities in future Battlefield tittles.

@DPsx7 oh i guess since you are right you don't even need to have a forum anymore, just DM DICE and i bet they will listen to you since you are right....

@Ironhead841 Maybe the call in could be limited to quads. One complaint I've seen is the same people get the same vehicles all the time. At least if the big toys only spawned at the base it'd give those hanging at base a chance to grab it. But since I wasn't a big vehicle user I didn't pay much attention to it.

Changing the loadouts was by far the biggest error they could make. The game was designed around flexibility and you can't just write it out. That's not the game I paid for. The hell with the 'veterans' who think they know better. New games don't NEED to keep old features. That's how games grow stale.

I'd say if things keep dropping as they are there's no reason they can't reverse course. That WAS the original plan. Browser, chat, it's all fluff. I'd rather the time be spent on new maps and modes, undoing their changes. Add the minor stuff once the game isn't inches from failing.

@X-Sunslayer-X Would if I could but I'm not signing up for a social media account. Besides, posting here or on Reddit brings out the many people who agree with me and didn't speak up earlier. It won't catch those who don't care and walked away from the game after the great nerf so the damage may be permanent.
