The vehicle call-in mechanic (while innovative) ultimately is just too problematic, vehicles should spawn on the map, vehicle types and quantity should be tied to each individual map for balancing purposes.
I'll agree removing the free loadouts in THIS game shouldn't have happened, especially after almost a year into the game's life cycle (and many on these boards said as much) but it's done, and I doubt they are going to reverse course.
You can continue to shout at clouds if you like but I don't think you'll sway them any.
That being said, Classes are in fact a foundational core component of a Battlefield title along with Server Browser, Persistent Servers, Squad Management, All-chat, Scoreboard, Clan/Platoon Support etc. etc.
I hope to see these features return in the next game and that EA/Dice forever ditch this ridiculous matchmaking boondoggle, the specialists and their abilities in future Battlefield tittles.
Changing the loadouts was by far the biggest error they could make. The game was designed around flexibility and you can't just write it out. That's not the game I paid for. The hell with the 'veterans' who think they know better. New games don't NEED to keep old features. That's how games grow stale.
I'd say if things keep dropping as they are there's no reason they can't reverse course. That WAS the original plan. Browser, chat, it's all fluff. I'd rather the time be spent on new maps and modes, undoing their changes. Add the minor stuff once the game isn't inches from failing.
