Re: Scope glint is too much

The amount of one-hit-kill weapons/gadgets are becoming a problem balancing wise and is part of what can make BF2042 awful to play, especially with 128 players (for infantry).

Scope-glint is fine, its a 'unrealistic' mechanic but necessary. Being able to one-shot people from any distance makes sniper-rifles pretty powerful.

We need more people PTFOing and playing for the team, making snipers any better would just be detrimental to the game.

  • @cso7777 Im fine with it in the game but it shouldn't be so bright. Like I said, it's like a massive spotlight. Snipers have always been a 2 shot to the body and 1 shot to the head. Except for .50 cal. I don't think they are used as much in this game as they were in previous games. Only people I see using them anymore are brand new players.
  • @ZRuff46 Agreed, it's far too bright and I end up retreating in my tank when I see one thinking it's the damn TOR about to nail me!

@Tank2042ManI use to love sniping in previous games but I absolutely hate it in this game. I can never tell the difference as to whether it's the tor or a sniper since they both usuallyare sitting in the back of the map. That right there is another reason to lower the brightness of the scopes so you can actually tell the difference
