Re: Snipers need to return to the Battlefield 1 Formula

@KunstulaThe 'sweet-spot'-mechanic in BF1 was bad, it made sniping too easy. BF1 also had way too many players using snipers, because of the easy-to-use sniper-rifles.

But still, the Martini-Henry was something else, perhaps the most satisfying gun of any BF-game...

Strongly disagree, and it's funny how every time snipers are properly balanced and actually able to compete with other class weapons that many players start complaining that they're OP, it's the same even in other FPS games, where sniper rifles get the same nonsensical built in nerfs out-of-box that severely cripples their performance in battle. I've had these discussions more times than I can count, the truth is that many players simply pretend to be arguing in favor of gun balance by calling for all sorts of sniper nerfs when in truth (and it's pretty obvious) they just want to eliminate any real competition against the full auto weapons run&gun meta playstyle.

@Kunstula The problem is that when sniping becomes to "easy", many games are more or less "destroyed" by people sniping instead of PTFOing.

Some recons get it and help their team by being part of the action, but too many ends up getting 10 kills from a hill far away, and this results in unbalanced games.

No. Snipers are ok, practice your accuracy and use RDS for close range or buy console with built-in auto aim
