    @CyberDyme Make sure the seller is Amazon, and not some 3rd party seller who could screw you over with the game code. Always pay attention who the seller is on Amazon. Same with Newegg.

    ...'not some 3rd party seller'.........  ???

    This is Western Digital themselves selling their own SDDs direct, using Amazon's online frontline store here for the commercial transaction and last leg logistics, as they have done now for many years across the globe!   =😎

    If anybody here is 3rd party, it is Amazon.   Hahaha.

    @CyberDyme There are MANY 3rd party sellers on Amazon, and Newegg. And yes, some are untrustworthy, and most jack up the price of the items they sale. Some even sale counterfeit items. The link you provided above for the SSD, is for a 3rd party seller. I took a screenshot just for you. Look at the price difference between them ($278.98) and the price Amazon is selling it for ($179.99). This is something EVERYONE should be aware of when shopping on Amazon and Newegg. I'm not saying every 3rd party seller is bad, but do your research on the seller before buying from them. If I'm buying a high priced item, I am going to buy directly from Amazon, or directly from Newegg, when I shop on those two sites.

    @Doo-Doo-Draws ,

    Sorry, not sure if you are trying to make fun of me here honestly??

    As the very link that i provided to you all here on previous page was indeed to Western Digitals own resale through Amazon themselves selling it to you!   So NOT any 3rd party….

    Here is the very screenshot with the full page!

    so the page you have posted and painted on there above, is not the same offer as i provided to you all in my first post.  And yes, my link was Amazon being both the seller and the shipper to you!  So safe and solid!   And yes, it was also at the lowest price…

    @CyberDyme Not making fun of you at all. Not sure why you would even think that. At the time I looked at the link you posted, the SSD was being sold by a different seller. The seller was Imagine Deals.  They were the seller and shipper.

    Anyway, I was just trying to protect you and others from possibly getting ripped off.

    Take care, my friend!

    OK thx @Doo-Doo-Draws ,

    Dont know what may have been going on at your end in your web browser then, as I never referred to any seller except Amazon.  Yes I am aware of other sellers operating these days on the Amazon platform and the pitfalls that can bring.  But no, my link was from the start only to Amazon's own direct sale and delivery of this item from their partnership with Western Digital. I would not recommend something to others that I don't find absolute solid and trustworthy myself.

    @Doo-Doo-Draws

    Just for the record, @CyberDyme 's post is unedited so the link there now is what was initially posted.

    Having said that, we appreciate you looking out for your fellow players, it is easy to get excited and misclick/mispurchase without really checking properly beforehand.

    Thanks.

  • @TTZ_Dipsy I completely agree! I had already pre-ordered Battlefield 2042 on day one, but I can always use a really good M.2 SSD. It is not a bad deal for a SSD and game code for $179.99. I can always gift the code to a friend.

    @CyberDyme It's all good, brother. I know you aren't trying to mislead anyone. And just for the record, even when I click your link now, I still see the seller as Imagine Deals for some strange reason. It's showing In stock soon for Amazon. I am in the US, by the way, so not sure what's going on.

    Anyway, you take care.
