@DutchRustyDove81 man, just dont buy the game, the community dont need guys like you!!!!!!!!!!!@IIIIIIRED-Ko keep your interaction civil here on the forums or account infractions will be handed out.
I get your point. if you’re really trying to get into the fantasy of the game that you are the soldier and therefore not being able to select your gender of choice, be it male or female, breaks that immersion.
However given all that you see are hands and arms, meh, shouldn’t be that bad.although I do find it really odd that the premise of the story is a war between the US and Russia, yet there is only one Russian and one US specialist???
But I guess everyone finds immersion differently.
- GamerDutchie5 years agoNew Vanguard@Daffid I think it would generate more sells for Dice as well. In the end that's what they want. I would buy a skin for Sundance if it's a male skin with voice of male.
- @ragnarok013 rly Man? The guys create a not inclusive post and I has a not civil interaction, ok.
We need a game and community more inclusive, i think Dice see this and come better since BF1/V. - kregora5 years agoSeasoned Ace@DutchRustyDove81 I think Sundance is trans.
- TrasteTh5 years agoSeasoned Ace@IIIIIIRED-Ko The OP did not identify as a "he", you are just assuming that OP is a guy.

@kregora "Yep. Sundance is non-binary and uses the Pronouns They/Them."
- kregora5 years agoSeasoned Ace@TrasteTh Ahh, yes, no-binary might be the correct term.

it doesnt matter who you play as in this game. No reason for immersion. You will play 2042 with what is the current META. Everyone will run a couple of OP Meta's. Thats just a fact with specialist abilities assigned to one character. And you can bet your happy * if I am playing 2042, I will run the most OP meta. Thats how they designed it then thats how I will play it.
I have always played shooters to compete, I have never got into grinding camos and guns.

Actually, the OP was commenting on a lack of inclusion, regarding their personal preference, and a lack of choices for that preference. If I'm reading it correctly, the argument was for male and female choices for each specialist, not to get rid of the female choices and replace them with all males.
If you truly support "inclusion," you may want to support this, so everyone can feel "included."
- GamerDutchie5 years agoNew Vanguard@ChugKendall Thanks for the clarification!
- TrasteTh5 years agoSeasoned Ace@ghinavirus Not so sure about your assumption on what "I" will play as.
I am not a try hard, nor do i keep track of any metas.
If i play in coordinated effort with friends, I will agree with my friends on what is best for the team, and if I play on my own, I will pick depending on my mood and the situation. TBH I have not heard of "meta" in relation to BF titles, to me it is something try hards and sweats in WZ (because I enjoy watching Jackfrags & co playing purely for their communication and cooperation). Never played WZ, but I guess it is a necessary part of the game there. - @TrasteTh you will know about Metas if you buy 2042. I do not really consider myself sweaty but when I am getting owned over and over by 1 or 2 builds, then to counter it is to also play that build. Thats why some games feel like a chore.

According to Freeman, Emma Sundance is non-binary.
I had to lookup what non-binary means. It basically means someone who identifies as neither male nor female, or even as a mixture of both sexes.
I could be wrong. I'm still learning what this stuff means.
Emma's my favorite specialist. Flying around indoors with a wingsuit is loco!
Referring to Emma as 'them' instead of 'her' seems strange to me though. I've heard these gender neutral words are popular in Swedish culture though.
- @IIIIIIRED-Ko You don’t sound like you’re being very inclusive telling him to just stay out of the community. Or is it just only you can be not inclusive and no one else?
@TrasteThHahahahaha. They just had to shoehorn that in there. When bullets are flying the things that really matter are what your pronouns are.
