@Fazoele Jets need a total physics re-work. They feel like absolute garbage. Flying, let alone aiming is so sluggish, I don't even bother using them.

Radar missiles are the only reliable way to kill helicopters. Using cannon is out of the question against semi-decent heli pilots. You just won't be able to hit them enough.

Strafing ground targets uis impossible because
1 - Aiming is sluggish
2 - Main gun is inaccurate and does low damage
3 - Going slow means you will get TGM'd or TOR'd
4 - Going fast means you won't pull out of a dive and crash or won't have enough time to kill any target

If they won't rework physics, then re-balance the payload.

Increase bullet velocity and accuracy for both cannons.
Remove Radar missiles and replace them with hydra rockets for strafing ground targets
Change aiming for AGM missiles from the cockpit to aiming pod on a belly, just like in BF4. This would allow jets to fly safely away from the ground while engaging tanks.

    @UP_LordPlumber Yeah I agree. These suggestions would help a lot. Its just annoying how they never touched jets basically since release date.

    I agree that radar missile should be nerfed, and 25mm and 30mm should be buffed.
    Personally, I don't want any vehicles to have long range. I want 25mm to be more powerful and overheat faster rather than faster bullet velocity. Helicopters should be able to counter if a heli pilot is much better than a jet pilot.
  • When you use 25mm against Nightbird, killing the pilot might be easier than destroying it.

    I believe that based on previous BF games, that giving the 2042 jets hydra rockets will make them several time more frustrating than helicopters for those bellow who are not vehicles.

    We do not need yet another BF with anti everything airplanes.

    JDAM should be fair though, with either manual aim or laser designated aim

    I also like the aim pod idea.

    Personally I wont miss the radar missiles if they are gone, I only ever use them in air superiority out of necessity (if I do not use them, the others will)
