temporyal only stated there was no sign of content beyond season 5 in the Origin API ID's. temporyal also tweeted it "it is not an indicator for their live service plans" and noted they could easily add new entires at a later date. I don't think temporyal got anything wrong. It was the community reaction to the tweet where conclusions were jumped to.
Personally, I still have reservations. It all depends on what is delivered. They could do anything and call it "Season 6". The proof will be in how many new weapons and maps we get. Rotating playlist, .jpeg's, weapon trinkets, and skins provide very little in my opinion.
