@RaginSam The AA gun on a LATV was an example of DICE trying to compromise With the removal of the 30mm and 50mm guns because people often used it as a Form of AA in BT or when a wildcat was not available. But because it was both OP and heavily went against what a Light Transport is meant to be, they were replaced by HMGs and the AA gun.
I'd say the AA gun isn't even a problem since it deals NO infantry damage at all, and is risky but somewhat effective to harrass or deter helis.
The issue is no one is wiling to compromise between air and ground assets and what is balanced or fair to use, each side often wants changes without considering what others would see that changed be like.
