- Alethes3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Lancelot_du_Lac fully agree myself. But financial imperatives have them do so, I'd hazard a guess. Partially-filled servers vs likely a handful of servers per geographical area as we have now.
I would be surprised if EA is willing to part money to go beyond the bare minimum. - Lancelot_du_Lac3 years agoSeasoned Ace@TheseusJason The simplest answer is to have a 1 person start, backfill with AI, and channel new players into the active server. Or, don't launch the game into smaller markets.
- Alethes3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Lancelot_du_Lac I don't see the latter happening. I like the former—cannot fetch why they don't do so, apart from levelling-up (to T1) considerations. (Notice how you can't level-up past a point in Solo/Co-op mode, and get Restricted XP in some Portal AI modes.) It'd be great otherwise, and especially in the absence of a server-browser.

Soon there will be no players in Europe. In Breakout mode over the weekend, two-thirds of the players today were bots. The Sims team has almost destroyed the game.
