Re: When is BF 2042 going free-to-play?

Probably not for free, but I expect a significant price reduction after Christmas.
Seems like a good decision not to have pre ordered.

The game does not seem to be worth the price at the moment and I`m still waiting for joystick support and a server browser before using the trial.

Good luck, whomever is running Dice and being pushed via EA have ruined this once great franchise...

Doubt I will ever buy another battlefield game.Enjoying Hell let loose and will boycott all EA games from now on.

I think battlefield five was one of the best! By the way I’m having fun in this game too! Need some fixes but I don’t want to play the exact same game again and again for decades.

Apex has 85k players, BF 2042 only has 20k players. This game is dying FAST in just a month.

@c6a9b16da4e44ec38bc3b231bb9096ec ah, the next classic move pulling up numbers from steam 😉 you know that this are only a small portion which a playing on Steam? do you have the numbers from Origin or Epic? What about xBox S/X and PS5?

If I can find a game in seconds, I think there are enough player out there ^^

Nope. Just yesterday there were 225k active players in steam in apex and not counting origin and all 3 consoles. 🙂
As for BF2042, it’s a free to play game with F2P monetization tactics but you have to pay $70. LMAO.
