Yeah, I would love to see Wake Island and a hand full of BC2 maps come to Portal.
Wake Island Is a classic. Proven on many eras, definitely would boost the 2042 map selection and would spike the 1942 Portal player count. Wake Island is the first BF map of all time, it should be in Portal the "love letter" from dice.
As for BC2 maps, I like White Pass the most. It is pretty and has nice close-quarters infantry gameplay with tons of destruction. A good mix of forest and building areas. I know Port Valdez is more popular which would be fine too. It would be interesting to see how they would expand Port Valdez to a larger conquest map, like they did with Val. Maybe fighting more on the mountain area with trees and that oil container area.
Op Metro would be fun as well.
In a survey a while back they asked about a spatial editor. Maybe they could release that and let people go wild. that would be awesome.
