@Trokey66The scam is having streamers lie about how good the content is.

They know it isn't good, but they'll put on a show for people so they go and buy battle passes.
It's happening with Lords of the Fallen right now as well.

@Sohsuh Know what else it's happened with? Just about every major and mid-sized title released in the past decade or so.

Good of you to just wake up from your coma and decide this total non-issue is actually a really big, serious problem.
