Re: Xbox One X and PS4 Pro graphical enhancements for BF2042?

@Jo5h0und as i know they haven't released any information about this topic at all.

But i think as the game is releasing already way later than those consoles, either Xbox One/PS4 or Xbox One X/PS4pro i think the Game will be giving as much potential as it has to each of the Consoles.

So i think with the newer standard of new released game, it'll already be the best quality as it can be without any need of a specific update to increase the quality.

Usually Games which been release for less powerful Consoles (like Xbox One) might get an quality update to fit newer versions of those Consoles. (like Xbox One X)

    But you were here 3 years ago when I first signed up.

    You have not unleashed your full potential as a Hero.

    Only when the cry's of your victims can be heard echoing across the battlefield as the name! its_Travis_199 is met with thunderous applause while noobs and EA community managers alike cower in fear at the very sight of your display picture.

    Then. Then you will be a real hero.

    @extinguisher123 that's going a bit offtopic here now 😉

    We probably interacted back then, but i also had a forum break for a long period of time during BFV. But getting back into it now since a while, and missed all the peeps here. 🙌

    Graphical quality of the beta on Xbox One X was a huge disappointment. Nothing like the polished experience of BFV/BF1. File size is listed at 9+ GB but once installed is 13+ GB on both my One X and S. I don't know if this is because the graphical improvements installs on both consoles. But is only implemented on One X or not. From what I can tell it just looks the same on both and is upscaling from the base Xbox One version of 900p or whatever it is. Now I remember the Battlefield V beta not being enhanced but on full release it was. But I am afraid this is the quality 2042 will launch with on the One X so I am cancelling my pre-order and will wait and see. The One X is capable of so much more than this and I hope they are going to take advantage of it. It makes no sense to not take advantage of the extra graphical horsepower on last gens enhanced consoles (PS4 Pro as well) and have us be stuck with the quality of the base consoles. Very worried I'm going to be sorely disappointed with the graphical quality of a game I have been hoping for since BF4.
