Realistically, what is your idea of "The Perfect Game"

First off let me state that I am 63 years old and have been playing games since computers and eventually consoles came out.  Let me further state that I have been heavily involved in game development as a level designer since Call of Duty 2.  I have worked with many who went on to work for major studios but primarily Treyarch.  I was invited to join them but declined for various reasons whoever I did work on the closed Developer teams for the mapping tools.

I only state the above to provide some creds for this thread.  Having played many games and run one of the top mapping sites for level developers I have heard from thousands of people on what makes a game bad, good or simply impossible.  Through all this I have learned that when people actually talked about their concerns instead of yelling, screaming or simply trying to be awesomely self-important sounding then changes actually did occur to better a game instead of trying to please everyone.  It is easier and better for a game when a true balance is actually achieved through honest and calm discussions.

I am an average player on my best days.  I know that this game is not perfect and I am also mature enough to understand that gaming studios are under extreme pressure to get games out so that their shareholders can make money and hopefully lots of it.  Surprisingly enough I have also found that the actual players themselves seem to be more accommodating or accepting when a release gets pushed to achieve release goals.  I have played this particular release and have not yet felt the need to rage about things

@ragnarok013 that counter knife was the worst thing they have ever added to the franchise, if you get behind someone it is their fault, yet they are rewarded, total BS.

@R1ckyDaMan19 Except counter-knife didn't work from behind only from the front and sides. If they got you from behind you were dead.  As one who was hunted mercilessly for my tags in BF3 counter-knife was a welcomed addition.
