Here's a sneak peak on upcoming changes:
Vehicle Balancing
- The LCAA Hovercraft will be re-equipped with lighter armor, lowering its health, and we're tuning down some of its weaponry
- The MD540 Nightbird will have similar tuning done on it's weaponry too We're keeping a close eye on early balance for future changes

Players will simply find creative ways to use gadgets and vehicles in our games. The team will be committed to balance changes and we're here to listen to the feedback from the community. I'm not involved in any testing aspect but I know that even from my experience in the industry you can still see significant changes from testing and live environments. Test is still a sample size and nothing compared to the player population when it goes live. I mean, who would have thought people would jump out of airplanes, fire off a rocket, and successfully land back in them?- X-Sunslayer-X4 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Blueberry i think you are missing the point... certain elements in the game make it impossible to determine if vehicles do actually overperform for the player atm ( lack of scoreboard) so other then that pilot killing me over and over and over ( which creates a really bad gameplayloop for the recieving player especially if the vehicle in question kills in less then 3 frames on average on top of the rockets causing insane movement slowdown to the poitn where you are glued to the floor).
no one is aksing for a perfectly balanced game, but at the moment the vehicles, especially Hovercraft, Nightbird and the Bolt are just way out of proportion....
and i get it it takes time to finetune and the game has just launched but why not go and use your new "vaulting-system" on one of these overachievers to elieviate some frustration for all sides. if vehicles overachieve everyone will use the gadgets to the point where neither vehicles nor infantry are really having fun anymore... (exeption beign the over achievers in either catergory)

You should take a look at the M5C Bolt I believe its called also? And the pure amount of vehicles on the map at once at any given time in Breakthrough, its completely ruining infantry gameplay.
Numerous tanks, hovercrafts, choppers, it's too much.

Hovercrafts are a bit iffy, especially at the start of this games life, but people are learning to counter it.
Biggest trouble i have with vehicles atm is it seems only the last person who kills it get all the points.
You can do massive damage to it and someone can do a tiny last hit and cop all the points.
Doesn't seem to be any assist.
