The recoiless one-shots the attack [nightbird+apache+stealth+jets] air vehicles (which the normal AA/stinger does not). Unless something has changed recently?

A OHK M5 against the transports seems a bit much.
Maybe 45 dmg would be appropriate.
Also I wouldn't mind seeing explosive damage cause some physics based rotation/rocking. Make the pilot fight to regain control for a couple seconds and disengage from the fight.

@AnobixAttack helicopters aren’t the problem.
The Hind and Condor on the other hand are too powerful thanks to 50 mm as well as being tankier than a tank. These supposed “transports” are dominating attack helicopters as well as jets and AA tanks. Once they’ve done away with any vehicle resistance it’s off to farming infantry.- Anobix3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Zhukov211 I agree that Transports are a big problem. But in the OP while they mention transports they didn't specify _only_ them which led to my clarification that they do extra/more damage than the AA missiles due to being dumb-fired missiles

Why DICE hasn't removed the 50mm cannon or nerfed the mobility and/or health of transport ships is insane to me. Especially with how insanely easy it can be to keep them alive forever on the new map, even with Liz.

This is why I actually love new map. Enough places to hide from it and have fun INSIDE. All other maps feels like DICE yelling at you "do play outside".

I swear this hasn't been my experience lately. I'll try to verify this today. If that is the case, then I suppose it just needs to do increased damage against transport heli's. Either that or just lower the overal HP of the transport heli by about 35%.

If anything, we need positional damage back. If you can be headshot and that damage is different than a body shot, why are vehicles not the same way? Hit a track, tank can't move or can only turn left until repaired, etc.
For any aircraft, if the M5 hits the cockpit, everyone inside should be dead and the aircraft should be in critical condition. If the aircraft are not honoring the stand-off range, they should pay the price.

Positional damage does exist. I've had TV missiles hit the rotor blades of the Hind and as a result I lost control and almost crashed. The TV missile hitting the cockpit will kill the pilot.

I got a few recoiless hits in on full health stealth helicopters yesterday. It never took them down in one hit. Not sure if its true for nightbird. Wasn't able to hit any. No one really wants to take those over the hind/stealth of course.
And I didn't even bother trying to hit a Jet to confirm. Don't see many of those anyway.
