So looking at Steamcharts, which is the best representation we have of overall player count, in the last 24 hours the game has reached an all time low, not even reaching 3000 concurrent players. ...

The general low player count is a BF2042 issue, that has nothing to do with the Valentines Day, but to point out a day, that always shows a drop in player numbers doesn't make this a strong argument.
@kregora I made this thread at 11:33PM GMT 15/02; it was Tuesday, and Wednesday in half the world including where I am.
