In games the opposite of love is not hate but apathy.

When someone has enough passion to hate a game, it generally means that they have had higher expectations for it and are trying to make them known in some hope that they can turn things around.

Someone who has gotten to the stage of apathy, does not play, does not give feedback or pay for it anymore
