I too am wondering why i spent £100 on the Ultimate version.
This game in it's current form is worth £30 tops.
No campaign, limited solo/coop play.
No progression in portal and the promise of 4 new specialists over a years season.
Do we really need more specialists?
Like come on, no one cares about the stupid specialists.
It's the whole content thats really lacking in substance.
EA/Dice really do need to re-think this game over. It needs a crap ton of extra content to even make it a BF game at all.
I got the gold version and while im also one of those unhappy customers - i wanna see how they update this game because it has potential. Its fairly addictive already even tho its a somewhat painful experience. Luckily i play on a PC and most of the times when the frames drop bad is during a fire fight. Not sure why that is.
I think the biggest lesson I took away from 2042 is that I will not buy the next BF game on launch. This is already bad for EA as i always preordered my fav games. Not anymore. Same goes for anything CDPR releases in teh future. I will not buy it on release. So i think after 60 hours asking for a refund isn't realistic and more likely you will not get one. Just dont buy unfinished EA games next time. They will get the message....
