Remove Body Armour Plates
Incredibly unbalanced, which then messes with weapons that aren't even balanced properly yet, cause you're shooting at someone, get the first few shots in, but then die cause the other guy had armour...

@LancySchemer Legit, infantry-only mode gonna be permanent "play angel or use an armor gadget" which is just boring as *. At that point it's not a choice, it's a requirement to keep a remotely level playing field.
Whoever decided 2042 needed armor gadgets shouldn't be allowed to concept out additional gadgets ever again, just execute design directions.

Like you said, who ever decided putting these things in classic BF-modes, needs to have their heads examined...
This will not be changed, Dice doesn't have the balls to do that. Instead we end up with 'meta-builds', that only makes the game less fun to play.Body armor is not a fun gadget.
It does nothing to promote a sandbox feeling. It is not fun to use. It is not fun to play against. It is not interesting and cannot do interesting things.
It adds nothing.
Get it out of here.
...and if it must stay add some or all of the following trade offs:
-add 5-10% penalty to movement speed
-add 5-10% penalty to reload speed
-add 5-10% penalty to ADS speed
- @AngrySquid270 But then it becomes the only gadget with a penalty for use, and you'd have folks complaining. It shouldn't exist period. It needs to be removed from Angel since his kit is already strong in ressing with armor (to make up for ressing at 50% life) and ammo resupply (plus the loadout kit callin for a resupply of your gadget etc.)

The BR-inspired gadgets are so obvious when it comes to things like that.i don't even think this game was supposed to be a battlefield branded game. i think whatever they had been working on (if they were even working on a battlefield game prior to 2021) had no chance of launching on time so they pivoted and grabbed this off the shelf and bolted on some battlefield game modes and slapped the name battlefield on it
