The 'wait for beta' is a bit tiresome. Are you going to say 'wait for the full release' if things don't turn out well in the beta? And will you say 'wait for the first patch to hit the full game' after that?

Beta will identify some issues that will (hopefully) get fixed for release.
Release will identify some issues that will (again, hopefully) get fixed in first patch.
The term 'issue' covers bugs, glitches and perceived balance issues in this context.
A slight aside.....
I firmly believe that unless objectively 'broken', no balance passes should be made for at least 6-8 weeks after release as this allows the novelty to wear off and the gameplay settle down a bit.
And so the cycle repeats itself.....
- @Trokey66 Passively waiting won't be be any good for the game. With Battlefields' history, I can understand very well that people are concerned with some issues. Even though I don't agree with OP at all, I think he has all the right to raise his concerns and waving this off with 'it's just a playtest, just wait' is a little naïve. No matter what kind of issue is at hand. Again, that's given DICE's reputation with previous BF launches.

Simple fact is, we have no idea how these gadgets will affect gameplay at this point, pretty much everything is pure speculation.
If anything is nieve, promoting change around something we don't know about yet is!
BF1's AA Rocket Gun nerfed before release because of complaints from players that didn't even use it in CTE.
BFV's archetypes binned before release because of, at least in part, whinges on here and other Social Media. - @infantrypeasant kill trade should happen and still happens in BF. The lack of it is more an issue stopping someone with slow bullet velocity or faster weapon and reflex countering you is rubbish.
- @DingoKillr Rounds disappearing on death is a bizarre mechanic indeed!
An encounter then becomes based on weapon characteristics and not the player.
If both players fire sufficient rounds on target then the weapon RPM and bullet velocity should NOT be the only determining factors on the outcome.
