Its also an old age problem when casuals feel sad that their fav exploits get called out cause they can't get easy XP anymore.
Can totally understand why you are feeling so defensive about removing this C5 + Drone in the game 🙂

I am defending fun and creativity.
If it is about XP gain, the Balls are a lot more efficient and easy.
If people want enemies with only one track of mind, they can go kill bots instead of players.

So, exploit has became fun and creativity? Great.

Yes, you better believe that they can be fun
I draw the line based on if the scale of such a practice is big enough to really become a dominant way of playing. So far DICE had not even found it statistically significant enough to make a comment about it, unlike the SOFLAM M5 ignoring the flares issue.
I am optimistic that the next patch will make it a lot harder for anyone to c5 a tank with a drone.
If not, it will get the BF3 MAV treatment.

I hope that it will happen - that the next patch will not allow this C5 + drone , or at least as most people have suggested, allow just 1 C5 on it. Though I still feel its not fair, but knowing that the tanks won't die, you'll have lesser people doing this ..
And finally people will do what it takes to get rid of a tank that is causing massive damage, properly.
I play both vehicles and infantry and I would love a fair balance between both.
