I am not a noob of tank, my kd is top 100 in the whole platform because of using Tank in BF5.
When you are in battle, all your eyes are all concentrate on the battlefield itself, not minimap, not sky,because I am a tank not a anti air vehicle! I need to focus on the ground, on the enemy.
@kealoil12345 And that is the first mistake in war you have to focus on every enemy not just ground troops, whether you are in a tank or not. BF5 had no chance to destroy those good camper tanks. This isnt anymore second world war there will be drones and they may be armed
Makes sense, but is it not better that the vehicle is damage in a way that he can´t move and that there is a chance u can survive? I feel like it´s to damm fast that there is only 1 guy with 1 drone to shut you down.
- @MrJimBF dont know what would be the best way but i understand your point. For sure C5 is high power explosive so it should be powerful. Also in this game there is so much tanks and vehicles and infantry is pretty powerless against them with rockets, have to hit so many times. Nearly everyone have to carry AA or rockets or you dont have any change to survive in this game. Many cant be snipers anyway with drones so i havent noticed it would be a real problem. I think the balance between vehicles and infantry isnt right anyway. Machine guns should be much more efficient in tanks you have to shoot a ridiculous much of even infantry. I don know can you open any airdefence for tanks when you unlock more weapons but there should be some way to some how defence air or even detect those drones. Tank is pretty powerless against choppers too
In the past, enemy's tank is always my first target, no matter what vehicle or airforce I am using, in another words, the way you against vehicle is your tank , your air plane, and your teammates work together, I accept killed by C5,by C5 with fast vehicle by jet by heli by repair tools，because it make sense and contain some risks.
I cant accept someone using such brainless way to kill me without any warning
Remember Chasing balance has never been firist target in battlefield series , Do you notice that how many people still hold the repair tools? do you ever think why?
and at last, do not think all the tank users are all campers with your experence

Blessed words, they told tankers to not be a static target but they ignore that the game evolutuon can Force a tank to be static...
They ignore that tanks have weaker armor compared to other titles, they ignore agm from heli and jets... They only care about casual gamers doing casual act of toxicity

Personally I believe that the problem is not at the drones as much as on the tanks being slow, not agile enough and with slow turrets with low angles. Speed is everything when the other side can overwhelm you

I hope they will do something sooner but that statement means everything and nothing because they only say "this is frustrating" but no tweak or nerf is in the way... It will be simple to limit the number of C5 sticked to 1 instead of 3

I am so far satisfied with the upcoming changes to the drone visibility and hit-ability. Perhaps the robo dogs could end up automatically shooting them down with the new hitbox

This game is a hell of a lot more tank friendly than the older ones tbh.
There's self repair systems and there's a gang of tanks driving around at all times during matches. The map design is so wide open that any tanker should see enemies coming from a mile away. The maps literally feel like they were made for tanks and heli's and infantry was a second thought.
There's constant spotting of damn near everyone around the tank including the drones on top of that.@BizzyVapingIt does not feel like that to me.
When I am in an MBT, I feel more weak and vulnerable than ever before.
Maybe because I am one of those who like to get close and dirty instead of collecting kills from safe spots.BF2042 inherited both the severe mobility damage and the slower turrets with more restricted angles.
Plus the best anti vehicle launcher is not some more demanding tool like the RPG or a panzerfast but a Smaw-like straight firing launcher
If we add to that the homing AA grenades and the three ways to disable both its weapons and defenses (Hack, EMP grenades and EMP drone)
The effect of the c5 is consistent with BF3/4 so I do not mind it.
